The Back to Basics Summer Challenge starts Monday, June 3rd and is 4 weeks long!
The meal plans are full of veggies, healthy fats, and good-quality protein (mostly wild fish & organic poultry). If I had to classify it, I'd say they're closest to a Paleo diet, with some grains and legumes thrown in there too! Most of the meals are naturally gluten-free and dairy-free, or easily modified to be. The majority of the meals will have an animal-based protein, however, vegetarian suggestions are provided.
No sweat! As long as you do your best to stick with a similar structure to the meals on your meal plan, you'll be good to go whether you're dining out or picking up! You'll also receive my Dining Out Guide to help you make great choices while you're out at restaurants, and I'll share all of my restaurant tips and tricks on our Facebook Live calls! You can also make a double batch of any of the recipes so you have leftovers for the next day. The goal is to make this as easy on you as possible!
Good news - this isn't Whole30, and you'll never be told you have to start over if you do a little over-indulging on the weekends. First of all, you will have a "Treat Meal" factored into your weekly meal plans, and we'll also discuss how you can balance your events and celebrations with your healthy lifestyle so you can stay on track even with your busy social life!
According to the moms who completed the previous challenges, these recipes are family-approved! I received tons of photos of their cute kids drinking smoothies, eating the healthy chicken tenders, and polishing off their plates of avocado pesto pasta!

Yes! You'll learn tons of tips about how to eat well while traveling, but even if you need to take a break from the challenge while on a trip, you can always hop right back on when you're home. The beauty of this challenge is, once you have all of the documents, you can repeat it again whenever you'd like!
They'll be saved in the Facebook group and in the membership area, so you can watch them whenever it's convenient for you!
